Nolo Contendere is a latin phrase meaning "no contest." This is not a guilty plea, but it is a plea in which the case will be closed and the accused will pay a fine. Arraignment is a legal proceeding in which the individual to whom the citation was issued either pleads guilty, not guilty, or Nolo Contendere. The court date listed on the citation is the arraignment date. These citations may be paid online prior to the court date listed on the citation by visiting EZ Court Pay.
